On March 23, Maren Morris and Ryan Hurd welcomed their first child, a son they named Hayes Andrew Hurd.
“Hayes Andrew Hurd. 3/23/20. Love of our lives,” Maren captured a slideshow of images she shared on Instagram following her son’s birth. Ryan also posted a couple pictures of their son along with his birthdate.

Now nearly three months old, baby Hayes has quickly become the star of his parents’ social media accounts. Maren and Ryan often post pictures of him, and fans can’t seem to get enough!

As a mother to two boys herself, Carrie Underwood was surely smitten by all of the adorable pictures Maren and Ryan have posted of baby Hayes. She decided to reach out to her fellow country-singing mama by sending her and Hayes a few gifts.
Maren took to her Instagram Story to thank Carrie for thinking of her and Hayes. She shared a picture of the gifts Carrie sent, which included a blue blanket with an elephant and Hayes’ name embroidered on it. There was also a matching burp cloth and what appears to be a plush elephant toy.
But Carrie didn’t just send gifts for Hayes. She also treated mama Maren to a bottle of wine, with she was incredibly thankful for.
“Thanks @carrieunderwood for these sweet baby gifts for Hayes (and the wine),” Maren wrote.
That was so sweet of Carrie to think of Maren and Hayes!
Carrie often likes to surprise her friends and fellow artists with gifts. For example, when her line of fitness apparel, Calia, celebrated its third birthday in 2018, she sent a package of goodies to Kelly Clarkson.
Both Kelly and Carrie won American Idol, so the two singers have always shared that special connection. Kelly was thrilled to see she got a package from Carrie, and filmed her reaction. Check out that video below.
