Carrie Underwood Didn’t Receive Any Nominations At The 2024 ACM Awards
Some country music fans were shocked when they tuned in to the ACM Awards on Thursday night (May 16) and discovered that Carrie Underwood skipped the ceremony.
Underwood has been a mainstay at the ACM Awards in the past. She last performed at the ceremony in 2022, when she sang “If I Didn’t Love You” with Jason Aldean.

Underwood was also one of the most-nominated artists at the ACM Awards in 2022, with a total of four nominations. She scored one win that night, for Single of the Year with Aldean for “If I Didn’t Love You.”
She received only one nomination from the ACM in 2023, for Entertainer of the Year. But Underwood did not attend the ceremony that year.
Underwood was completely snubbed by the ACM in 2024, and didn’t receive a single nomination. Fans were surprised, since she’s won 16 ACM Awards throughout her career, including Entertainer of the Year three times.
Why Did Carrie Skip The Ceremony This Year?
Other artists, including Miranda Lambert and Jason Aldean, were also snubbed by the ACM. Neither artist received any nominations, although both attended the ceremony and performed.
But Underwood opted to skip the ACM Awards again this year. Beyond not being nominated, fans wondered why she was missing from the list of attendees.
Underwood’s upcoming performance schedule likely contributed to her absence. The singer returns to Las Vegas on May 22 for the next set of dates in her Reflection residency at Resorts World Las Vegas. She’ll perform six shows in Vegas before returning to Nashville on June 4 for two performances at the Grand Ole Opry.
