Carson Daly Formed A Strong Bond With Blake Shelton Through The Voice

For 23 seasons, Blake Shelton and Carson Daly were the two constants on The Voice. Shelton served as a coach, and won a record-setting 10 seasons. Daly has served as the show’s host for its entire run.

The two of them became fast friends. Daly served as the officiant at Shelton’s wedding to Gwen Stefani in 2021. He was also on hand to honor Shelton when he received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame this year.

On top of that, Shelton and Daly have their own show together, called Barmageddon.

Shelton always made it clear he’d be devastated if Daly left The Voice.

It would freak me out if Carson left…” he told PopCulture.com.

Shelton uttered those comments after his friend and fellow coach Adam Levine left The Voice. Lucky for him, he never had to know what it would be like to be on The Voice without Daly.

However, Daly now knows what it’s like to be on The Voice without Shelton. Season 23 was Shelton’s last season of The Voice.
