Kansas City Chiefs Coach Andy Reid Says He Doesn’t Have A Favorite Taylor Swift Song
Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid is surely celebrating right now, as he just led the team to a back-to-back Super Bowl victory on Sunday night (February 11). The Chiefs secured the win with a touchdown in overtime, with the final score being 25-22.
Prior to the big game, CBS interviewed Reid about all things Super Bowl. Of course, Taylor Swift came up during the conversation.
Swift is currently dating the Chiefs’ tight end, Travis Kelce. The couple started dating in 2023, and Swift attended many of the Chiefs’ games throughout the season.
She was also in attendance at the Super Bowl, and celebrated on the field with Kelce after the Chiefs’ big win.
But although Swift is dating one of his star players, Coach Reid doesn’t really know her music all too well.
Coach Reid Is A Huge Fan Of Country Music
Though Coach Reid clarified he has nothing wrong with Swift as a person. He’s actually known her for years, longer than Kelce even. It just so happens that her music isn’t his preferred style.
When asked which song of Swift’s is his favorite, Reid replied:
“Ya know what, I have no idea about the Taylor Swift songs. I like Taylor Swift because I’ve known her a long time … but that’s not my genre.”
So what is Coach Reid’s genre? From the sounds of it, country!
He told CBS he loves listening to music from Kenny Chesney and the Oak Ridge Boys, specifically.
The Oak Ridge Boys caught wind of Coach Reid’s comments. They shared a clip of his interview on X (formerly Twitter), and thanked him for the shout-out.

What Does Andy Reid Think Of Taylor & Travis’ Relationship?
As for how the Chiefs coach feels about Swift and Kelce’s relationship…he’s all for it!
Coach Reid told CBS:
“Listen, it’s a tribute to how she’s handled it, how Kelce has handled it. It hasn’t been a distraction, so there haven’t been any problems with it. She’s a good girl … She loves the game, and obviously loves Kelce. So I’m happy for both of them.”
