Chris Stapleton’s Grammy-Winning Song Sees Major Spike In Streams After Ceremony

The Grammy Awards were on Sunday night (April 3). Chris Stapleton claimed three trophies, making him one of the night’s biggest winners.

Stapleton won Best Country Solo Performance with “You Should Probably Leave.” His song, “Cold,” won the award for Best Country Song. Last but not least, Starting Over won the award for Best Country Album.

Stapleton also sang during the ceremony. He delivered a powerhouse performance of “Cold,” which earned lots of praise from viewers.

As is typical after awards shows, Stapleton’s music saw a spike in streams after the 2022 Grammys. But this spike was HUGE!

Hypebot cites Spotify data that indicates “Cold” saw a 350% increase in global streams following the Grammys. All of those streams surely brought attention to Stapleton’s other songs as well.

Stapleton wasn’t the only artist who experienced a nice boost in streams after the Grammys. Brandi Carlile‘s song “Right On Time” saw a 600% increase in global sales after her performance.

John Batiste’s “Freedom” experienced the most significant post-Grammys spike. It saw a 2,900% increase in global streams. That’s wild!
