Chris Stapleton and his wife Morgane usually try to keep their kids out of the spotlight. We didn’t even know their two eldest kids’ names until Chris said them during an acceptance speech at the 2018 CMA Awards.

The Stapletons have five kids, four sons and a daughter. Their two eldest are their son, Wayland, and daughter, Ada. They welcomed twin boys in 2018 and had another son in 2019.

Chris and Morgane have continued to keep their three youngest kids out of the public eye. But Wayland and Ada have made a public appearance.

The eldest Stapleton children walked the red carpet with Chris for the premiere of Toy Story 4 in 2019. Chris recorded a song for the film, “The Ballad of the Lonesome Cowboy.”

We got the chance to see Wayland and Ada once more when they made a rare public appearance with their parents at the 2022 ACM Awards on Monday night (March 7).

Wayland and Ada walked the red carpet and posed for photographs with their mom and dad. They’ve grown up so much since we saw them at the Toy Story 4 premiere three years ago!

The Stapleton children could also be seen in the audience when Chris went up to give his acceptance speech after winning Male Artist of the Year.

Chris addressed his family during his speech, and mentioned it was Wayland’s 13th birthday.I’ve got my kids with me tonight,” Chris said, gesturing at his family in the crowd. “Wayland he’s 13 today, it’s his birthday, happy birthday.”

What a way to spend a birthday!
