The 2024 CMT Music Awards were in full swing at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas, on Sunday night!
The evening was full of memorable performances, featuring an emotional tribute to the late, great Toby Keith and even an exciting Sugarland reunion!
Kelsea Ballerini took the reins as host for the fourth consecutive year. She shared the spotlight for the most nominations alongside Cody Johnson, Jelly Roll, Lainey Wilson, and Megan Moroney, with each artist securing three nods.
CMT unveiled the full list of nominees for every award on March 13. With nine diverse categories, the lineup promised a thrilling showcase of talent!
CMT announces Duo/Group Video of the Year
The award honors the country music duo/group whose music video from the previous year is deemed the best by fans.
The nominees for the category were:
- Brothers Osborne – “Nobody’s Nobody”
- Dan + Shay – “Save Me The Trouble”
- Old Dominion – “Memory Lane”
- Parmalee – “Girl In Mine”
- The War And Treaty – “Have You A Heart”
- Tigirlily Gold – “Shoot Tequila”
The award for the CMT Duo/Group Video of the Year goes to…Dan + Shay!!
Dan + Shay, currently rocking Kansas City on their Heartbreak On The Map Tour, took a moment from underneath the stage to send a lively video expressing gratitude to their fans for their votes.
“We just got the good news that we have won Duo/Group Video of the Year. Thank you so much for that. Thank you to the fans for voting. Fan-voted awards always mean that much more. We love you guys.”
