Dressed head-to-toe in red, white, and blue fringe, Season 13 Voice finalist Ashland Craft got the crowd riled up with a rowdy rendition of Zac Brown Band‘s “Country Fried.”

Fans took over control on the song selection, viewers voting for the Team Miley contestant to take on the gritty country song after she considered singing it the week prior.

“I am excited to see what little twists we can add,” shared Craft in the pre-taped rehearsal footage. “It is so relatable to me as a country singer…It’s like the lyrics are my life.”

The country starlet proved she not only has a unique voice, but also that she is an entertainer, moving the crowd to clap to the beat of the song without a single misstep. Voice coach Adam Levine went on to give Craft an “A-plus for the performance” in addition to saying she “did not make any mistakes.”

“Chicken Fried” was released initially by the Zac Brown Band for their 2004 album Home Grown. The band re-recorded the song and released it as the lead single for their album The Foundation, “Chicken Fried” garnering them their first number one single on Billboard’s country chart.
