On April 16, 2020, many folks tuned in to ABC to watch their TV special entitled Disney Family Singalong.

Hosted by Ryan Seacrest, the television event featured some of the biggest names in music singing Disney songs from their own homes, due to stay-at-home orders in most of the country.

Performers included Little Big Town and their children singing “Spoonful of Sugar” from Mary Poppins, Derek and Julianne Hough performing “Be Our Guest,” and Josh Groban singing “You’ve Got A Friend In Me,” among many others.

A fan-favorite performance – for many different reasons – had to be Donny Osmond’s “I’ll Make A Man Out Of You” from Mulan. The seasoned performer actually was Captain Li Shang’s singing voice in the 1998 movie and recorded “I’ll Make A Man Out of You” for the film.

To this day, despite countless accolades and awards, Osmond says singing “I’ll Make A Man Out of You” is “in my grandkids’ eyes, this is easily my greatest accomplishment yet.”

Because the song is so important to his grandkids, it seemed fitting that he include them all for his Disney Family Singalong version! Osmond started off the version solo, then was joined by each of his grandkids, Brady Bunch-style, who got a chance to shine with a short solo.

Osmond’s only granddaughter, Emy, appropriately sang Mulan’s single line in the song with her cousins providing voices for the other characters.

If this isn’t the epitome of a Disney Family Singalong, we don’t know what is! Make sure you watch it in the video below.
