Ella Langley is taking matters into her own hands with her most recent purchase
Despite the glamour that comes with her recent success in country music, rising country star Ella Langley has not abandoned her “redneck” roots.
During a red-carpet interview before the CMA Awards, Taste of Country asked Langley to share the most “redneck” thing that she has done lately.
Without hesitation, the Alabama native answered:
“I just bought a pellet gun, because I have a rodent issue and the neighborhood will not take care of it. I walked out the other night, and my dog got sprayed by a skunk… that pissed me off.”
She continued:
“There was a possum walking on the fence the other night and I mean it scared me so bad, I almost peed my pants. So I ordered a pellet gun, and I’m going to take care of it myself.”
She ends with a cheeky reminder, “Don’t tell the neighborhood.”

Fellow Alabama-born country stars to tour in 2025
Ella Langley quickly gained recognition when her duet with Riley Green went viral last year. The pair released “You Look Like You Love Me” in August 2024, and it topped the Billboard Country Airplay chart in December.
It was the 25-year-old’s first number-one hit and also marked the first time that a female country artist had topped the chart in nearly one year. Additionally, the flirty duet took home the CMA Award for Musical Event of the Year.
This year, Ella Langley will join her duet partner and fellow redneck Riley Green for the Damn County Music Tour, which kicks off in March.
