Ella Langley & Riley Green’s “You Look Like You Love Me” Has Been One Of Country Music’s Biggest Hits This Summer
“You Look Like You Love Me” by Ella Langley and Riley Green is one of the most popular songs in country music this summer. The two vocalists co-wrote the track along with Aaron Raitiere.
The tune is a bonafide country love song in a more classic style. It has Langley and Green singing flirtatiously to each other, with some of the chorus’ lyrics being:
“Excuse me, you look like you love me. You look like you want me, to want you to come on home.”
“You Look Like You Love Me” was released to country radio on August 5. In just a few weeks, the song has already climbed as high as the 13th spot on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart.
The track also entered the all-genre Billboard Hot 100 chart, peaking at the 36th position so far. This is Langley’s first time landing a song on that chart.

On Tuesday (August 27), Langley revealed that the official music video for “You Look Like You Love Me” would drop at 12 PM ET the following day (August 28). Her announcement showed an image resembling a movie poster featuring her and Green in Wild West-themed attire.
The image also revealed that country music legend Jamey Johnson would have a starring role in the video.

The video opens with Green stepping into a Wild West saloon, where he catches Langley’s eye. She meets him in the middle of the floor and joins him in a romantic dance, prompting the other patrons to get up and dance as well.
One of the men in the saloon recognizes Green, who’s a wanted man. He takes Green’s “Wanted” poster to Johnson, who enters the saloon to lay down the law. However, he softens when Langley steps up and asks him to dance with her in Green’s place. Langley and Green eventually leave the saloon and ride off together into the unknown.
In addition to Johnson, the video stars another famous figure country fans will surely recognize. Green’s beloved dog, Carl the Cowboy Corgi, makes an appearance!
