The CW Announces New Docuseries, The Wranglers.

If you’re a Yellowstone and reality TV fan, then The Wranglers might be the show for you.

This eight-part docuseries is set to give an inside look at the personal and professional lives of the Circle Bar Dude Ranch staff in Montana. Run by no-nonsense second-generation rancher Russell True, the ranch will see the drama unfold as its 20-something-year-old staff juggles client demands and the everyday issues that come from working closely together.

“The Wranglers will rope viewers into this captivating real world set against the backdrop of Big Sky Country,” Heather Olander, Head of Programming for The CW said in a statement.

Noting the appeal of drama-filled reality TV, she adds, “Fans love the drama of the bunkhouse on the scripted hit Yellowstone, and now we’re bringing it to life in this series. Audiences will instantly fall in love with the hard-working and passionate cowboys and cowgirls that work the ranch as their stories of romance, friendship and conflict unfold.”

The unscripted docuseries is scheduled to premiere on Thursday, October 24.

Western dramas have grown in popularity since the Yellowstone universe began, and even though the original series is ending this year, fans have much to look forward to in the genre.

Not only is The CW’s The Wranglers set to premiere, but Paramount has also announced a new show, titled Madison.

Madison will be the latest spinoff from Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan and is rumored to focus on a wealthy matriarch and her family as they leave New York City for Montana after the tragic deaths of her husband and brother-in-law in a plane crash.

Although details about the upcoming series are limited, production on the spinoff is expected to begin next month, with filming in Montana, New York, and Texas.

It was also recently confirmed that Michelle Pfeiffer has signed on to star in the series, which is set to premiere in 2025, after the original Yellowstone concludes with the final part of Season Five airing in November.
