Fire Breaks Out At Kane Brown’s Fenway Park Concert
A fire broke out at Kane Brown’s sold-out show at Fenway Park on Saturday (July 20), forcing him to cut his set short.
According to Boston-based news station WHDH, a “small fire” broke out in some scaffolding during Brown’s set. The concert paused for 10 minutes while Brown’s stage crew worked to extinguish the flames.
Attendee Kerri Besse said:
“They announced it immediately. We knew approximately how long we were going to have to wait. And then when Kane Brown came back out, he apologized.”

Kane Apologizes To Fans After Cutting His Set
While Brown did return to the stage after the fire was extinguished, he was forced to shorten his set because of the delay. He cut two songs from his setlist.
The “Bury Me In Georgia” singer later took to social media to apologize for the shortened show. He released the following statement on his Instagram Story:
“Because of the fire tonight, we got rushed and cut 2 songs. I’m so sorry. I love you Boston and had so much fun tonight.”
Brown didn’t let the fire ruin the excitement of selling out Fenway Park. He reflected on the milestone moment in a post on Instagram, writing:
“I just wanted to let everyone know I’m so happy!!!! I have my ups and downs and recently I’m just genuinely happy…I love everybody for coming out tonight in Boston and showing out!
