First Look At Clint Eastwood’s New Movie Shows Him Returning To Cowboy Roots

Clint Eastwood is returning to the Wild West in his new movie with Warner Bros, Cry Macho. 

Eastwood, 91, produced, directed, and starred in the upcoming Western drama, which is set in 1979. The movie follows a washed-up rodeo star and horse breeder who takes a job from a former boss. The ex-rodeo star, played by Eastwood, is tasked with bringing the man’s son home and freeing the boy from his alcoholic mother.

Country singer and actor Dwight Yoakman will also star in the movie alongside Eduardo Minett, who will make his film debut. Clint Eastwood has shown an inclination for finding new talent in the film industry, and Eduardo Minett is the icon’s latest discovery. The young actor will play opposite Eastwood, and the plot will follow the pair’s challenging journey and fight for redemption.

In an exclusive first look, People shared photos from the Cry Macho set with Eastwood fans. In the pictures, Eastwood wears a cowboy hat, button-up, and belt buckle, while his co-star appears in a more laid back style for the film. Check out the images below.
