Many of Blake Shelton’s Louisiana fans are disappointed after the star was forced to cancel his Saturday night show.
Shelton’s concert scheduled to take place at Bossier City’s Centurylink Center was postponed at the last-minute due to the Voice coach fighting the flu. Shelton took to social media to share the news saying,
“Friends, I have been battling the flu the last few days and today it has gotten the best of me,” he wrote on Twitter. “I rarely have to postpone a show and I apologize to everyone who had their Saturday night plans to spend it with me and the other Freaks on the ‘Country Music Freaks’ Tour.”
Shelton added, “”Hopefully everyone can join us on Tuesday night and I promise to make up for the inconvenience! Stay well!”
The concert was rescheduled for Tuesday, March 6, and will feature Brett Eldredge, Carly Pearce and special guest Trace Adkins.
