Along with many of their other country music friends, Garth Brooks and his beloved wife Trisha Yearwood have been trying to help the rest of us with our stir-crazy quarantine by singing songs to us!
During a live-streamed concert on Facebook on March 23rd, 2020, both Garth and Trisha performed various songs from their own catalogs and covered the songs of others.
One song that they covered was a duet originally performed by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper for their blockbuster hit movie A Star Is Born. The song, called “Shallow” has repeatedly entered the charts and has become a chart-topping success in more than 20 countries.
Singing the song at the request of fans, these two country legends poured their heart and soul into this performance while Garth strummed away on his guitar.
On Facebook, Garth wrote about his feelings after the concert, saying: “I felt connected last night, and we’re ALL in this together. Thank YOU for that…and for this surprising song request!!!”
