Country Legend George Strait Honors Jesus With Heartfelt New Track
After five years, George Strait’s new album has finally arrived! Strait’s 31st studio album, Cowboys and Dreamers, has 13 tracks, including previously released tracks “MIA Down In MIA” and “The Little Things.”

A Song About Jesus
Strait’s new album features one song that stands out to Bible believers. “The Book” follows the story of a cowboy who believes in Jesus Christ and wants to “Ride with that band of angels.” The song opens with:
“There’s a book in my saddle
Written words to see me through
About a man who was a savior
Died and raised again for me and you”
The cowboy rides with a book, presumably the Bible, on him at all times because he believes in the gospel. Which is the belief that Jesus “Died and raised again for me and you.”
The song continues on to say:
“I believe what Jesus told me
That if you ask, you shall receive”
This refers to a verse in the Bible, Mark 11:24, that states: “Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.”
The song ends with a reference to the last book in the Bible called Revelation, that prophecies that Jesus will return:
“It’s written, “He’ll come down riding on a big white stallion”
With a band of angels hot on His trail”
The song is a walk through the Good Book, or Bible, from the beginning of the New Testament to the end, Revelation.
