Every year, Graceland recognizes the anniversary of Elvis Presley‘s death during “Elvis Week.” Graceland recently revealed its plans for this year’s event, which will also include a tribute to Lisa Marie Presley.
Lisa Marie, Elvis’ only child, passed away on January 12, 2023 at the age of 54. She was laid to rest at Graceland next to her son, Benjamin Keough, who died in 2020.
This year, Elvis Week will last from August 9-17. Graceland shared a full schedule of events on its official website. It also named the special guests and performers who will be in attendance, including:
Linda Thompson, Jay Osmond, Sam Thompson, Jerry Schilling, Glen Hardin, Spencer Sutherland, Mike Deasy, Tanya Lemani George, Terry Mike Jeffrey, and The Blackwood Brothers Quartet.
Some of the highlights will be an Aloha from Hawaii 50th Anniversary Concert, which will feature Elvis on the big screen while backed by a live band. There will also be a special enhanced screening of Elvis’ ’68 Comeback Special.
The yearly Candlelight Vigil will be held on August 15. Fans will gather during the vigil to remember Elvis’ live and legacy.
