The blonde songstress and former lead singer of No Doubt canceled several of her concerts for her Las Vegas residency this past weekend after revealing she had fallen ill on social media.
Gwen Stefani, who recently stormed the charts with her longtime boyfriend Blake Shelton and their duet “Nobody But You” has become quite ill and was forced to cancel her residency shows for February 8th-9th.
In a post to her followers on social media, Stefani shared the depth of her illness and the lengths she had gone through to be well enough to perform.
“I am so sorry,” she said in a tweet to her fans. “I am still not feeling well and will be unable to perform my Just A Girl Vegas show Saturday, February 8th…”

Offering refunds for tickets purchased, Stefani also shared a follow-up tweet to those who were concerned about her health and the shows set up for later this month.
“I’m doing everything I can to get well and plan to be back on stage for my shows February 12 – 22. Thank [you] all for all of the well wishes. Hope to see you back in Vegas soon.”

Stefani has been holding her residency in Vegas since June 2018 and it is scheduled to continue through May 2020 with a total of 61 shows performed. So far, the series has been estimated to have sold more than $16 million in tickets since it began.
