Looks like this country music superstar sure has a lot to be thankful for! Jason Aldean‘s blonde bombshell of a wife, Brittany Kerr, surprised him the best gift ever in celebration of his fortieth birthday. The day before his birthday (Feb. 28), Kerr shared with her 390,000 Instagram followers that she had surprised her country crooner husband with a special birthday trip.
While she did not specify where she was taking him, the photo features them getting cozy on an airplane together, so wherever they were going, it definitely was not in Nashville. Kerr further shared insight into what she had planned for her country crooner husband in a second steamy photo featuring Aldean donning ice hockey gear while the two shared an adorable air kiss.
While all the previous photos made it seem as if they were taking just a couple’s trip together, turns out that could not be further from the truth! Kerr shared the third piece of the puzzle with a massive group shot featuring a bunch of Aldean’s friends and their significant others standing on an ice rink. The crew partied it up and played a recreational game of ice hockey.
While the trip may have been organized for Aldean, looks like he wasn’t the only the birthday boy on the trip! The “Little More Summertime” singer posted a birthday photo of his own, sharing that he and close friend, Kurt Allison, have been celebrating their birthdays together for over a decade now.
Aldean and Kerr came forward as a couple publicly for the first time at the 2014 CMT Awards following his high profile divorce from his high school sweetheart, Jessica Ussery. After a whirlwind romance, the two got married in Mexico on March 21, 2015. Aldean’s two daughters from his previous marriage, Keeley and Kendyl, were even in the their wedding party acting as a junior bridesmaid and flower girl during the picturesque beach wedding.
