Jelly Roll Gets Emotional As He Shares That He & Wife Bunnie Bought A Beautiful Piece Of Land

Jelly Roll shed tears while reminiscing about his late father’s advice to“buy land.” The singer had a very close relationship with his father, who passed away when he was young.

In the video, Jelly Roll recalled a particular experience he had with his late father. He remembered when he and his father visited his uncle, who owned a farm. The farm was a “safe place” for his family, and Jelly Roll has fond memories of spending time there

This memory continued as Jelly Roll recalled driving away from the farm with his father that day and asking him, “How come we never got a farm?”  his father responded: 

“‘son, that’s probably one of the mistakes I regret the most is that I didn’t buy dirt.’ He said, ‘they’re never going to make no more of it. And if you don’t listen to no advice from me, buy dirt. Go get you some land.'”

Jelly Roll’s New Land

The singer recorded his TikTok video standing on the new land he had just bought. He began to cry and joked, “I’m tired of crying on the f****** platform in front of everybody.”

He shed tears of gratitude in remembrance of his late father.

Jelly Roll went from being an incarcerated criminal to being one of the most successful country music artists, with his most recent album going No.1 on the charts.

After he composed himself, he began to explain that he was there to pray over the land. In his own words, “I came here today to pray over it. I came here today to vision-cast in it. I came here today to just walk barefooted in it. And most importantly, I came here today to pull this phone out of my pocket and look y’all in the eye and say, thank you, man.”

He thanked his fans and ended the video with a message of hope.

“I was never brave enough to dream that I would be here like this today. And thank you all for the success of Beautifully Broken. Thank you all for just changing my life, man.” He continued, “Generational curses were broken because of you all. I’m standing on it. I am standing here, breaking a generational curse right now. And I hope that inspires one of you all to do the same thing. I love you all, man.”
