A brand-new Jelly Roll song is set to be the official anthem for ESPN’s college football coverage!
Shortly after living out a “childhood dream” with an epic chokeslam at WWE’s SummerSlam, the “Dead End Road” singer is crossing over into another sport.
Jelly Roll’s new track, “Get By,” will serve as the soundtrack for ESPN’s college football coverage for the 2024-25 season.
This year marks the 11th time ESPN has teamed up with a musical artist for an anthem.
It’s pretty much a fun tradition that lets fans know that college football is back. We can’t wait for Jelly Roll to get his chance!
Curtis Friends, ESPN’s VP of Marketing, shared his excitement about having a Jelly Roll song serve as the new anthem, saying:
“There’s a powerful connection between music and college football, and for more than a decade, the ESPN college football music anthem has been integral to the promotion of the sport, while its release has marked the unofficial start to the season. Jelly Roll is a talented, award-winning artist whose music speaks to the passion of college football fans across the country, and we’re excited ‘Get By’ will soundtrack the sport all season long.”
The college football season kicks off on Saturday, August 24. Fans will have the chance to hear Jelly Roll’s “Get By” across ESPN networks and ABC all season long!

ESPN released a 90-second hype video for college football, and Jelly Roll had the opportunity to watch it for the first time during his recent appearance on the Pat McAfee Show.
“ESPN sent us a college football reel with the song on it. This is the debut, ladies and gentleman,” Pat said.
Jelly, who was clearly excited, asked, “Is this it?” before he yelled, “DEBUT!”
