Julianne Hough was set to marry hockey player Brooks Laich this summer, but the couple has now decided to postpone their wedding.
“We kind of just started [planning], and we were like, ‘You know what? Let’s just chill. Let’s just enjoy the engagement process and the fun of it.’ So we haven’t really gotten into it,” Hough told Us. “We’re kind of terrible.”
The 27-year old actress, singer, and professional dancer discussed the lack of wedding planning with ET Wednesday. “We might get married in 10 years. Who knows?”
Instead of planning a wedding, Hough said that she and her fiance want to enjoy the engagement phase and will spend the summer relaxing.
“We finally get to actually be in the same city, so that’s nice,” Hough said. “So we’re just chilling at the house, cooking dinner, hanging out by the pool and relaxing.”
When the wedding does happen it will be a private affair.

“It’s mainly just friends and family,” Hough said. “We’re keeping it pretty small and intimate.”
Hough and Laich began dating in December 2013 and revealed their engagement on Instagram in August.
