Chase McDaniel and Chris Chavez are no strangers to the music scene. In fact, they are one half of new country quartet 4th + Main and have impressive resumes as soloists and songwriters. We were first introduced to 4th + Main over a year ago when they released their first video, a cover of the Keith Whitley hit “When You Say Nothing At All.”

In the months since, McDaniel, Chavez, and their bandmates Randy Austin and Blake Whitlock have stayed the course as they make a name for themselves in Music City. A boy band look with a sound that is the perfect mash-up of the Oak Ridge Boys, Rascal Flatts, The Statler Brothers and a little bit of old-fashioned gospel quartet, 4th + Main is on the rise as one of the newest and best quartets in country music.

“Whether singing around an acoustic guitar or entering a stage with a full band, the group possesses a versatility that combines classic harmonies with today’s revered vocal stylings,” their website reads.

As a quartet the group is a force to be reckoned with. And on their own, each and every member can boast equally stunning vocal abilities.

In a recent post made to social media, Chase McDaniel and Chris Chavez showed off their vocal prowess with a stunning, stripped down cover of the Keith Urban hit “Parallel Line.” McDaniel’s rich voice kicked off the first verse as Chavez played keyboard before taking on lead on the second half of the verse. The pair’s voices came together in flawless harmonies for the chorus, making us want to listen over and over again.

“Parallel Line” was written by pop star Ed Sheeran and recorded by Keith Urban. The song was released by Urban earlier this year as the second single from his album Graffiti U.  Hear Keith Urban sing “Parallel Line” with his wife, Nicole Kidman, in the video below.
