Kelly Clarkson Gives Festive Performance of the Christmas Classic “Sleigh Ride”
Clarkson performed the song during the popular Kellyoke segment on her daytime talk show.
Kelly Clarkson is fully embracing the holiday spirit this year. Throughout the month, she has performed several classic Christmas songs live, including Chuck Berry’s “Run Run Rudolph,” “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” and now “Sleigh Ride” by The Ronettes.
She’s also been sharing some of her own original holiday music. Back in September, Clarkson released an original Christmas song titled “You For Christmas.”
Additionally, at the beginning of the week, she announced her collaboration with country singer Brett Eldredge on a brand-new song titled “Sweet December.”
The song is a romantic duet that was first featured on Eldredge’s most recent album, Merry Christmas (Welcome to the Family), which was released in the fall. This marks the second collaboration between the two. In 2021, they teamed up for “Under the Mistletoe,” which appears on Clarkson’s When Christmas Comes Around album.
During an episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show on December 17, Clarkson and Eldredge performed their duet “Sweet December,” for the first time live.
