Kelly Clarkson Brings Daughter River Rose Onstage To Perform Duet During Vegas Residency
Kelly Clarkson and her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock, share two children. They have a daughter, River Rose, and a son, Remington “Remy” Alexander. River turned nine in June, and Remington turned seven in April.
The kids recently came to Las Vegas to watch their mom perform. Kelly has a residency at the Bakkt Theater at Planet Hollywood.
It made Kelly happy to have her children with her in Vegas. She posted a photo of River and Remington hugging backstage before the show, and captioned it:
“Both of my kiddos backstage getting ready to join me on stage in Vegas…nothing will ever be as cool and amazing as these two little humans that will always have my whole heart.”
Kelly Invites Son Remy Onstage In Vegas For Adorable Moment
First, Remy joined Kelly onstage and had a blast dancing with her. She revealed that he picked the song he wanted her to sing in that moment, which was “Whole Lotta Woman.”
While introducing the song, Kelly said, “My son is seven years old. He picked the coolest song for a dude to pick. I was like, ‘He was destined for greatness just for loving this song alone.'”
Remy danced his heart out while Kelly delivered a powerful performance of “Whole Lotta Woman.” One fan captured the moment on video, and shared the clip on TikTok.

Kelly Clarkson Sings “Heartbeat Song” With Daughter River Rose In Vegas
Later in the night, Kelly welcomed River to the stage. She joined her to sing Kelly’s 2015 single “Heartbeat Song.”
Kelly encouraged her daughter by praising how well she did during soundcheck. That gave River the confidence to perform in front of the crowd that gathered to watch her mom in Vegas.
At one point, Kelly told River to swap out a lyric for a more age-appropriate version. She told her not to say the word “hell” in the line “Where the hell did you come from?” They sang “heck” instead.
Kelly complimented her daughter after their duet, saying, “You look gorgeous. You did amazing. I love you. I’ll see you in a little bit.” How sweet!
Head below to watch a fan-filmed video of Kelly and River’s duet. It’s clear River inherited her mama’s love for music!
