Kenny Chesney Begins His Residency At The Las Vegas Sphere
At the beginning of the year, country music superstar Kenny Chesney announced that he would kick off his own residency at the Las Vegas Sphere.
If you’re unfamiliar, the Las Vegas Sphere opened in September 2023. The venue seats more than 17,000 people and features a 16K resolution wraparound interior LED screen, giving audience members an immersive experience like never before.
The Sphere has hosted legendary acts like U2, The Eagles, and Phish. What makes it even more exciting is that Chesney has made history as the first country artist to ever hold a residency at the state-of-the-art venue.

And of course, with it being opening night at the iconic venue, Chesney made sure to pack the show with special surprises for the crowd.
One of the biggest moments came when he brought out his friend and fellow country star Kelsea Ballerini.
The moment happened during Chesney’s performance of his 1999 hit, “She Thinks My Tractor’s Sexy.” Not long after he began the song, Ballerini made an appearance on stage and jumped right in to sing along with him.

While on stage together, Ballerini and Chesney kept the energy going with two more songs.
They performed their chart-topping duet “Half of My Hometown,” followed by a fan-favorite, “You and Tequila.”
The Country Music Hall of Famer has 11 more shows scheduled for his Las Vegas Sphere residency, which is set to wrap up on June 14.
We can’t wait to see what other surprises Chesney has in store during the rest of his time at the venue!
