Kenny Chesney was one of the busiest artists in country music last year. In addition to his intense tour schedule, Chesney spent a lot of time in the studio working on a new album. That album, called Cosmic Hallelujah, was released on October 28.

Cosmic Hallelujah topped the country albums chart following its release, and also reached the second spot on the overall albums chart. Its singles have been equally successful, with “Noise” peaking at the sixth spot on the charts. “Setting the World on Fire,” Chesney’s duet with pop singer P!nk, was a number one country hit and broke into the Top 30 on the pop charts.

After such an eventful year, Chesney is going to enjoy some downtime in 2017. He announced that he’s not going on tour at all in 2017, and only has two stadium shows booked. Those shows will take place at the Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Massachusetts on August 25 and August 26. Thomas Rhett and Old Dominion will join Chesney for those two shows as opening acts.

Chesney also has a few festival performances thrown into his schedule for the year. He’s serving as one of the headliners for the Stagecoach festival in Indio, California, which features Shania Twain and Dierks Bentley as the other headliners.

Although he isn’t touring this year, Chesney is finding other ways to keep busy. It turns out that he has some big news in store concerning one of his business ventures.

Like several country stars, Chesney has his own liquor line. Called Blue Chair Bay Premium Rum, the drink is named after Chesney’s song, “Old Blue Chair.” Since Chesney is a big fan of island life, the rum draws inspiration from island-like flavors.

Chesney has quite the assortment of flavors in his Blue Chair Bay Rum line so far. Now, he’s ready to make a new addition to round out his collection.

On Tuesday (January 24) Chesney teased some big news concerning Blue Chair Bay Rum through an announcement on social media. He shared an image of his current rum line with one blank bottle thrown into the mix. The message made it obvious that a new flavor is on the way, reading, “There’s always room for one more.”

Fans will have to wait a little longer to find out what the new flavor will be. Chesney said he’ll break the news about it on February 1.
