Lainey Wilson’s Emotional Concert Moment

Lainey Wilson shed some tears during her October 19th concert at Ameris Bank Amphitheatre in Alpharetta, Georgia.

During her concert, Wilson was given a sign that read“We Survived Helene.” A fan named Maddy passed the sign up to the singer.

When Wilson saw the sign, she began to show evident emotion. She stared at it silently for a moment before speaking to the audience.

“We all know that North Carolina and a lot of other states have been through a lot, parts of Georgia in the past few weeks… man, I’m getting emotional.” Tears began to form in her eyes but she continued, But I just wanna say, tonight, a lot of y’all are probably dealing with heartbreak for your friends and family, and my heart is with y’all, my crew’s heart is with y’all.”

She continued to say:

“We’re gonna lay it at His feet tonight… I’m so thankful that y’all are here tonight, and that you chose to come here, so this show is for y’all.”

Hurricane Helene terrorized the eastern part of the United States. The Georgia audience knows all too well about the severity of the natural disaster. It was a tear-filled moment between the singer and her fans.

In true Wilson fashion, the singer shared a small joke with her fans after the tear-jerking moment.

“Man, I got snot dropping out of my nose. Put that on TikTok. Somebody just said in my ear, ‘Lainey, do you need tissues?’ I’m just gonna sit down right here for a second.”
