Gabby Barrett’s First Christmas Album Is Being Released On November 8
Gabby Barrett thrilled her fans with a huge announcement on Monday (October 21)…she’s releasing her first Christmas album!
The American Idol alum shared that her first Christmas album, Carols and Candlelight, will be released on November 8. She also revealed the album’s stunning cover art. The picture shows her wearing a yellow dress while sitting beside a twinkling Christmas tree and glowing candles.
Barrett, a devout Christian, said that the Christmas season is her favorite time of year.
“If you know me, you know that Christmas is my FAVORITE time of the year… so I have been so excited to announce my new Christmas album, ‘Carols and Candlelight’ will be available everywhere on 11.8,” she said in her announcement.
We’ve seen Barrett’s love for Christmas on full display in the past. In 2021, she hosted CMA Country Christmas alongside Carly Pearce.

Barrett acknowledged how it may seem silly to share such news in October, writing, “I know we’re close to Halloween, but my heart is in HOLIDAY MODE!!!!!”

While fans have to wait a few weeks to hear Barrett’s full Christmas album, they’ll get the chance to hear a piece of it soon. Barrett plans to release her rendition of “I’ll Be Home for Christmas” on Friday (October 25).
