Lainey Wilson & Devlin “Duck” Hodges Make Debut As A Couple At 2023 ACM Awards

Lainey Wilson‘s fans were buzzing after she made her red carpet debut with her boyfriend, Devlin “Duck” Hodges at the ACM Awards in May. Hodges also sat next to Wilson in the audience and beamed with pride as she won multiple awards and performed twice.

There was a prior hint that Wilson and the former Pittsburgh Steelers star were an item. Wilson wore a Steelers jersey with Hodges’ name and number when she performed in Pittsburgh on April 29. Members of her band also rocked jerseys representing Hodges.

Although fans figured Wilson and Hodges started dating before the ACM Awards, many people assumed they were a fairly new couple. But that assumption was wrong!

How Long Have Lainey Wilson & Devlin Hodges Been Together?

During a recent interview with Bobby Bones, Wilson revealed exactly how long she and Hodges have been dating. As it turns out, they’ve been together for years!

“He’s been around for a while. I just decided to make him wait for two and a half years,” she said.

Wilson went on to gush about how supportive Hodges is, saying:

“He knows what it’s like chasing a dream because he’s done that for himself. He was in the NFL. He tried out literally for the Steelers and made it and had a really great run with them. Went out to LA Rams and did that now. But I’ll tell you, he is good as gold. Supports me, would never come in between anything that I’m trying to do. He’s like, ‘go get it, girl.’ And I made him wait for a while. I mean…it’s been a little over two years now.”
