Sister duo Lennon & Maisy have been send roping in fans with their incredible energy and magnificent vocal and musical talent since their social media debut back in 2012. The sisters uploaded a self-captured video of their musical spin on Swedish singer Robyn’s “Call Your Girlfriend” and became a sensation overnight. In addition to their musical gifts, the sisters have also snagged roles on ABC’s hit show “Nashville”.
While the sister duo has given countless performances in sought out for venues, such as the iconic stage of the Grand Ole Opry, the girls gave a heartwarming performance on everyone’s favorite childhood show, Sesame Street.
Lennon, 17, and Maisy, 13, graced the Sesame Street family in a wonderful duet with the one-and-only muppet, Ernie. The three stars sang a beautiful song about all of the places they’d love to visit, but will refuse to stay in due to the warming idea that those places do not represent their home. The angelic medley of the sisters’ voices carried the seemingly simple song and created a story that enticed even adults to take a seat on the vacant couch and enjoy the sweet number with their little ones.
While their adorable charm and admirable relationship with one another was a huge part in these young girls making it to the big leagues, it’s their continuance of that love and affection that has kept them there and secured their admiring fans.
