Lindsay’s Story

Ell is a Canadian country singer, songwriter, and guitarist. Influenced by guitarists such as Keith Urban and Jimi Hendrix, this blonde beauty has no plans on playing it safe. She released her first official single, “Trippin’ on Us” in 2013 with tremendous success following.

It was her third studio album that boosted her right to the top of the charts. Ell’s The Project was the No. 1 selling country album the week of its release. The 12-track album had a smooth sound that fans were waiting for. Her single, “Criminal,” made its way onto three Billboard charts.

While she’s been soaring through the country music world leaving her mark on every city she touches down in – some unfortunate news put her on hold for a moment.

Ell took to Instagram to share the news with her fans.

“I don’t have cancer, but the doctor found pre-cancerous cells growing in my body that need to be removed.”

Ell went on to stress the importance of keeping up with our health.

“Sometimes we think we’re fine. Sometimes we think we eat healthy and workout, and that means we should be fine. But never underestimate the power of a check up at the doctor. You never know, and if you catch something early enough, it could save your life.”

Luckily for the singer, she was able to schedule surgery as soon as possible to get her body back on track. Going in for surgery Feb. 28, we wish her a quick recovery.
