Man Proposes At KFC In South Africa, She Says ‘Yes’

Who knew that KFC was such a romantic place?

Patrons gathered at a KFC in South Africa recently witnessed a sweet display of affection when a man got down one one knee in the middle of the restaurant and asked his girlfriend to marry him! Someone happened to capture the proposal on video, and it will make your heart melt when you see it.

You can’t hear what the couple is saying, but you can tell that the woman said “yes” to her boyfriend’s proposal. She can be seen smiling and laughing to herself as the man slips her brand-new ring on her finger.

At the end of the video, the man can be seen handing a camera to a fellow patron. He had to get a photo to remember the magical moment!

Somehow, the video of the proposal made its way to KFC, and the KFC South Africa official Twitter shared it with their followers.

As of press time, the video has over 73,000 views…and it was just shared on Thursday (November 7).

KFC South Africa hopes that someone can identify the couple. “...please help us find this beautiful couple…DM us any leads, there might be a Finger Lickin’ Good surprise in it for you too,” read the tweet that accompanied the video.

Hopefully the couple is able to be identified, because their proposal has touched so many people!

It turns out that being proposed to at a KFC is more common than you’d think. Back in 2016, a Kenyan man popped the question to his girlfriend at a KFC, and the video of his proposal has over 700,000 views on YouTube. Check it out below!
