Miranda Lambert Travels To “The Big Apple” To Promote New Book
Miranda Lambert just released her first cookbook, Y’all Eat Yet?: Welcome to the Pretty B*tchin’ Kitchen. To promote the book, Lambert traveled to New York City to do a bunch of press. She made the rounds to several programs to speak about the book, its recipes, and the stories behind them.
For example, while on CBS Mornings, Lambert explained the story behind her beloved bunny sheet cake recipe. She started making the cake when she was a child, and still makes it today.
In fact, Lambert now makes the cake with her four-year-old stepson. She said:
“…my stepson’s four-and-a-half, and I make the bunny cake with him now. So it’s really, it’s our tradition. This whole book is about carrying on traditions and making memories.”
Miranda Lambert’s Husband Brendan McLoughlin Is From NYC
Lambert’s husband, Brendan McLoughlin, is actually from NYC. He even served as an officer in the NYPD! So he and Lambert often return to the city to visit his family and son.
McLoughlin was happy to be back in his hometown with his wife. He shared three photos on Instagram of the two of them together in their hotel room, which had a stunning view of the city skyline.
“It’s always great to come back home with @mirandalambert,” McLoughlin wrote in the photos’ caption.

Lambert also posted a bunch of photos from her time in NYC. She started off by sharing two pictures after she and McLoughlin finished getting ready for one of her TV appearances.
She called the photos “street week selfies” in the caption.

Later, Lambert shared even more photos from their NYC trip. The pictures show all the fun outfits she wore for her various appearances, including the bright blue dress she wore on CBS Mornings.
“Pretty B*tchin’ NYC style,” Lambert wrote in the caption.
