Miranda Lambert Sings “Girls Just Want To Have Fun” In “Glam Jam” With Elle King

We missed seeing Miranda Lambert‘s “Glam Jams!”

In case you’re unfamiliar, Lambert likes to sing upbeat songs while she’s getting ready for a show or event, and often has her friends and crew join in. She started sharing videos of these little karaoke performances, and called them “Glam Jams.”

For an added element of fun, Lambert and her pals pick up any nearby object they can find and use them as makeshift microphones.

Past glam jams have shown Lambert singing “You’re the One That I Want” from Grease and Taylor Swift‘s “Bad Blood.” She even filmed a video with her husband, Brendan McLoughlin, who jumped in for a “Glam Jam” to “You Sexy Thing” in 2019.

Since Lambert wasn’t able to tour in 2020, some time passed before we got another “Glam Jam” from her. But we finally got one…and it features a famous friend of hers!

In 2021, Lambert released a new song with Elle King titled “Drunk (And I Don’t Wanna Go Home).” They previously toured together in 2019 and were two of the artists featured on the ACM Award-winning cover of “Fooled Around and Fell in Love.”

Lambert and King released a music video to accompany their duet, “Drunk.” The video takes on an 80s theme, and shows King playing the role of a bride while Lambert is her maid of honor.

The two also play wedding singers in the clip.

Since the video was 80s-themed, lots and lots of hairspray was required. The hair and makeup team was surely working overtime on that shoot!

But they found some time to unwind in between takes. Lambert and her team welcomed King into the fold for a “Glam Jam” to Cyndi Lauper’s “Girls Just Want to Have Fun.”

Lambert held up a tumbler cup as a microphone while King fittingly used a bottle of hairspray/mousse. They seemed like they were having a blast as they sang along to the song.

Watch Lambert and King’s “Glam Jam” collaboration below. We love seeing fun videos like these!
