Morgan Wallen Joins Brooks & Dunn For “Neon Moon”

Brooks & Dunn just released their long-awaited album Reboot II.

Brooks & Dunn’s album includes some of their best-known hits reimagined with newer country artists.

They first released Reboot in 2019, which featured collaborations with Luke Combs, Thomas Rhett, Kacey Musgraves, Kane Brown, Jon Pardi, and more.

Reboot peaked at number eight on the Billboard 200 chart and topped the Top Country Albums chart. Based on the success of that album, the legendary duo returned to the studio to do it again, this time with different collaborators.

On September 16, Brooks & Dunn announced Reboot II.

They revealed the album artwork, the track listing, and the release date in a social media video.

The post read, “Only once in a bright blue moon do things this wildly unexpected happen. 18 Brooks & Dunn songs + 18 artists come together to reinvent time-tested classics. You are not going to believe where this genre-bending journey is about to take you. REBOOT II comin’ atcha November 15th!”

One of the most anticipated collaborations is with Morgan Wallen.

Together, they recorded “Neon Moon,” a song released before Wallen was even born.

Wallen explained that he wanted to keep the song the same when discussing collaboration.

“For me, I don’t want to stray too far from what I consider something that’s perfect,” he said, adding that he has been a huge Brooks & Dunn fan his entire life and can remember blaring their music from his car speakers.
