Morgan Wallen Shared A Version of His No.1 Song “Love Somebody” In A Way That Fans Have Never Heard Before

Morgan Wallen took a different approach to his new single, delivering a piano version that gives the song a whole new feel.

The country star took to his social media on Tuesday night (February 4) to share a video that was a bit different from what fans usually see from him. Instead of concert promos or professional footage, Wallen posted a raw, self-filmed video.

In the video, Wallen starts off by setting up the camera, hilariously struggling to get it right.

“Will not be taking on any more cinematography projects this year as I will be busy doing things I’m hopefully somewhat better at,” he joked in the video’s caption.

Once he gets the camera in place, he walks over to a black grand piano and explains that he’s in the process of deciding which songs to play at his upcoming concerts.

“Alright, I’m recording this myself, trying to figure out what we’re gonna play on tour,” Wallen says. “Probably not gonna play this on tour, not this version anyway, but I like how it sounds. I didn’t practice that much, but I think it sounds cool.”

That’s when Wallen began playing the piano in a way fans don’t often hear from him, giving “Love Somebody” a ballad twist as he sang.

The 31-year-old country superstar released “Love Somebody” early last year as one of the first singles from his upcoming album I’m the Problem. The song became a major milestone for Wallen, marking his first solo single to debut at No. 1.

Although Wallen mentioned that he doesn’t plan to perform this piano version of “Love Somebody” during his shows, fans are already pushing for it. They flooded the comment section of the video, praising the stripped-down version and urging him to include it in his future concert setlist.

“We actually NEED you to play this on tour,” one person wrote.

“Amazing, sounds great and would be awesome on tour!” another said.

“Add this version immediately to the setlist please,” a fan begged.
