Jelly Roll Has Opened A Bar In Downtown Nashville

Jelly Roll‘s brand-new bar, Goodnight Nashville, has unveiled its plans for a grand opening celebration later in February.

Goodnight Nashville opened its doors to the public in January of this year (2025). While many country stars have their own bars, Goodnight Nashville is the first celebrity-backed bar on Broadway from someone who’s native to “Music City.” Jelly Roll was born in Nashville’s Antioch neighborhood.

Featuring four stories, Goodnight Nashville took over the former Trail West Boot Store between 2nd and 3rd Ave S. The venue promises a “full dining experience” and also contains a tattoo parlor.

The first floor has a full bar where people can gather and listen to live music while enjoying the offerings from the extensive food menu. Visitors can order dishes such as the Family Recipe Meatballs, “Wild One” Wings, a Nashville Mac N’ Cheese, and Dad’s Key Lime Pie.

The venue is accented with decor that nods to Jelly Roll’s personality and music, including a skull chandelier reminiscent of the cover for his latest album, Beautifully Broken.

Goodnight Nashville’s second floor is dedicated to Jelly Roll’s wife, Bunnie Xo. The third floor is “more intimate” and “elevated,” featuring a cocktail lounge named Buddy’s in honor of Jelly Roll’s late father. Buddy’s will mainly be used for private events and Jelly Roll’s own use, but will occasionally open its doors to the general public.

The fourth and final floor of Goodnight Nashville is an indoor-outdoor rooftop. The rooftop features “sweeping views,” which visitors can admire while enjoying their drinks.

Goodnight Nashville Reveals Plans For Grand Opening Celebration

Although Goodnight Nashville opened last month, it’s hosting its grand opening celebration in the coming weeks. A press release states that the event will be held on Thursday, February 20.

The venue’s dedicated space for flash-style tattoos will also open on the day of the grand opening celebration. So you can get a brand-new tattoo when you pay a visit to Jelly Roll’s new bar!

If you plan to pay a visit to Goodnight Nashville on your trip to “Music City,” the venue is open seven days a week. Hours will vary by floor.

Les Corieri, the co-owner of Evening Entertainment Group, who helped create Goodnight Nashville, says:

“As we set out to create EEG’s first venue in Nashville, we knew there was no better person to partner with than a true hometown hero like Jelly Roll. Goodnight Nashville is more than just a place to grab a drink—it’s an experience where music, culture, and hospitality meet. Nashville has always been a vibrant city of energy and creativity, and we’re excited to be part of that spirit, bringing something new to the scene.”
