Although they are currently only available in Australia, the popularity of the unlikely duo has made its way over to the United States…in the form of cupcakes!
Rosana Pansino, a baker with a successful YouTube channel with over 12 million subscribers, put together a unique recipe combining the flavors of Mountain Dew and Doritos!

The recipe seems easy enough with the list of ingredients being a box of lemon cake mix, lemon pudding mix, Nacho Cheese Doritos, Mountain Dew, vegetable oil, eggs, powdered sugar, lemon zest, butter, cream cheese, vanilla extract and electric green food coloring.
The food coloring is to get the Mountain Dew soda look! After mixing, baking, and frosting the cupcakes with the electric green frosting, you add the finishing touch of Doritos crumbles.
She actually uploaded this recipe video back in 2014, so maybe PepsiCo took inspiration from her!
