Singer and ventriloquist Darci Lynne Farmer was only 12 years old when she auditioned for America’s Got Talent and earned Mel B’s golden buzzer.

The official AGT video of her audition earned millions of views, making it one of the most viral videos of the year.

Farmer went on to win her season, and quickly became one of the show’s most successful contestants. She has kept herself busy with nationwide tours, and even had her own Christmas special in 2018.

The young star also appeared on the special AGT series The Champions, during which the best of the best AGT performers were invited to compete against each other. She finished in second place on The Champions after being brought back on the show as the judges’ wild card contestant.

With her 15th birthday approaching on October 12, Farmer once again returned to the stage that started it all for her. She was a special guest performer on a results show, and she pulled out all the stops.

Farmer joined her bunny puppet Petunia to sing the James Brown classic, “It’s a Man’s Man’s Man’s World.” The song was released by Brown and Betty Jean Newsome in 1966, and was a number one hit on the R&B Singles chart.

Farmer delivered the entire song in Petunia’s voice. This is something fans aren’t always used to seeing, since many of Farmer’s performances have her switching between her own voice and the voice of her puppet(s).

You have to applaud Farmer for singing an entire song in another “person’s” voice…and doing it without opening her mouth! Prepare to be amazed when you check out her performance below.

Once again, Farmer proved that she is one exceptional talent. She has certainly earned all of her success!
