Last year, it was announced that Academy Award-winners Nicole Kidman and Javier Bardem would be playing I Love Lucy co-stars and real-life husband and wife Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz.
The Amazon Studios movie is based around one week of production on the set of I Love Lucy. Starting at the Monday table read, the film will encompass the entire week, ending with shooting the episode in front of a live an audience shot on Friday. Viewers will get to experience the trials and tribulations of what the main characters go through that particular week.

Other cast members include J. K. Simmons as William Frawley (Fred in I Love Lucy) and Nina Arianda as Vivian Vance (Ethel in I Love Lucy).

The official trailer was released on October 19, which was the first time fans were able to see Kidman and Bardem as Lucy and Desi.
Leading up to the movie’s release on December 21st, Amazon Studios has released another movie poster…and the resemblance between Nicole and Lucille Ball is uncanny!
