Shania Twain changed the game of modern country music with the release of her third album, Come On Over. The album not only defined the Canadian singer’s career but went on to become the sixth best-selling album in the United States, with sales exceeding 40 million worldwide since its release.
The music featured off the record-shattering album transcends barriers, with music fans of all genres enjoying the catchy lyrics sung by the country singer. Proving that good music knows no boundaries, a contestant on The Voice Nigeria wowed the judges with a heavenly rendition of Twain’s emotional “From This Moment On.”
Shortly into her audition, Tama Nisa earned a chair turn from coach Tuface, the remaining three coaches admitting they were impressed by her voice even though they ultimately made the decision to not turn.
“From This Moment On” was a Come On Over megahit, charting in countries across the globe including France, Australia, New Zealand, and more. The song was co-written by Twain and Robert John “Mutt” Lange.
