Oliver Anthony Has Finished Working On His New Album
In the midst of his Out of the Woods Tour, Oliver Anthony shared on Sunday (March 3) that his new album is finished.
Anthony is currently touring across the world on his first headlining tour. The trek kicked off on February 1 in Stockholm, Sweden.
The Out of the Woods Tour continues throughout 2024. Anthony has talked about adding additional dates to the tour in September and October.
The singer is currently gearing up to perform at RodeoHouston on Tuesday (March 5). “It may just be the craziest show we do this year,” Anthony said.
He Tells His Fans “I Owe Everything To You”
Anthony skyrocketed into the spotlight after a video of him performing his original song, “Rich Men North of Richmond,” went viral in August 2023.
The original video currently sits at over 123 million views on YouTube alone.
“Rich Men North of Richmond” also claimed the #1 spot on the Hot Country Songs chart and the all-genre Billboard Hot 100 after the video took off.
Anthony, whose real name is Christopher Lunsford, was understandably blown away by the response.
He’s since had the opportunity to performance at the Grand Ole Opry and the Ryman Auditorium. He even got the chance to meet country music legend Randy Travis.

After all of his success, Anthony is sharing how much he appreciates his fans. He knows he wouldn’t be where he is today without them.
“I owe everything to you,” Anthony captioned a video of him traveling on his tour bus. “We are playing sold out shows. Was able to rent a bus through July so I can bring my family along. Life feels good right now. Hope to meet you on the road.”

Anthony also dropped some news in the caption. He said, “New album is finished. You’ll see it pop up sooner or later.”
In early January, Anthony shared he started recording the album “in an old church in Georgia.”
