In one of the most soulful and stunning performances of the season, two pairs of pros and celebrities went head-to-head in a rumba dance-off set to one of the most memorable pieces of music history has ever seen.
Throughout the entire 24th season of Dancing With The Stars, both Bonner Bolton and Nick Viall have held their own, dance after dance – but in this newest episode, only one of them could stay.
The pairs each had to prepare three separate dances for the next episode, not knowing which they would be performing. During Monday night’s episode (May 1st), Bonner Bolton and Sharna Burgess went head-t0-head in a heated dance-off with Nick Viall and Petra Mugatroyd that was set to the tune of “I Will Always Love You”.
Splitting the dance floor straight down the middle, each pair had a thin strip of flooring to dance within and they took turns showing off their stuff throughout the duration of the song.
At the end of their undeniably-stunning performance, America was tasked with providing votes for a double-elimination. America’s votes, combined with the judges scores from last week determined who would be sent home.
