Reba McEntire’s Voice Team Is Full! – Meet Every Contestant She’s Coaching

After Tuesday night’s (October 7) episode of The Voice, every team, including Reba McEntire‘s, is full!

The country music queen and Season 25 champion assembled a spectacular group of contestants following the blind auditions. As expected, many of her team members favor the country genre, but not all of them.

Head below to meet everyone on Team Reba this season!

Manny Costello

28-year-old Manny Costello is a Georgia native and proud “girl dad.” He auditioned for The Voice with a touching cover of country artist Craig Morgan’s “Almost Home.”

His performance moved McEntire to tears. She said:

It’s tears of joy because I feel very blessed to have been in the country music business all these years. So you just triggered something that needed to come out and say, ‘Happy to be here.'”

Snoop Dogg turned his chair as well, but Costello knew he had to choose Team Reba!

Vinya Chhabra

14-year-old Vinya Chhabra delivered an unbelievable performance of Alanis Morissette’s “Ironic” during the blind auditions. The New Jersey native got three coaches to turn their chairs: McEntire, Snoop Dogg, and Michael Bublé.

McEntire called Chhabra a “powerhouse” vocalist, and she now has that power on her team. The teen chose her as her coach!

Vinya really had great range, great tone, and the young contestants on this show are like sponges. They really wanna learn. They really wanna grow,” McEntire said about having Chhabra on her team.

Aaron Nichols

37-year-old Aaron Nichols of Bakersfield, California, left the coaches captivated with his cover of Chris Stapleton‘s “Cold” during the blind auditions. McEntire, Snoop Dogg, and Michael Bublé all turned their chairs for the talented singer.

Bublé, believing that Nichols would opt to join Team Reba, made a bold prediction:

Reba McEntire is going to win The Voice with this dude. And at least I want to be able to say I turned my chair and threw my hat into the ring.”

As Bublé anticipated, Nichols chose McEntire to be his coach…so time will tell if they’ll win The Voice together!

Daron Lameek

35-year-old Daron Lameek from Queens, New York, auditioned for Season 28 with a groovy cover of Lionel Richie’s “All Night Long.” Coaches McEntire and Bublé turned their chairs for his performance.

McEntire loved everything she heard from Lameek. She told him:

I can’t wait to see what else you hold in store with your vocals. [I’m a] huge Lionel Richie fan. You did that song great justice. I’d love to have you on my team.

Much to McEntire’s delight, Lameek picked her to be his coach!

Letter To Elise

The Buffalo, New York-based duo Letter To Elise got Snoop Dogg and McEntire to turn their chairs for their cover of A-ha’s “Take on Me.”

I loved the harmony,” McEntire said after their performance. “I’d rather sing harmony than the lead part…that’s why it’s so special for me to get a duo on my team. You’d make me very happy…

McEntire should be over-the-moon…because Letter to Elise chose to join Team Reba!

Shan Scott

YouTube video

28-year-old New York native Shan Scott auditioned for Season 28 with a cover of The Revivalist’s “Wish I Knew You.” Just when she thought no one was going to turn their chair, McEntire flipped hers around at the last possible second.

As a result, Scott was automatically welcomed onto Team Reba!

McEntire praised her performance, saying, “I love your voice…it just went all over me…Your speaking voice is even so rich it’s, got like a fur coat or something.” McEntire also mentioned that she loved the song Scott chose, even though she was not familiar with it herself.

Ryan Mitchell

YouTube video

25-year-old Ryan Mitchell actually auditioned for The Voice twice! For his first performance, he covered Cage the Elephant’s “Cigarette Daydreams.” But none of the coaches turned their chairs for him.

However, his journey didn’t end there.

The Voice introduced the “Carson Callback” this season, giving host Carson Daly the power to save one contestant during the blind auditions. The chosen contestant would then get the chance to audition a second time.

Daly wanted to save Mitchell! So he prepared a new song, a cover of Britney Spears’ “…Baby One More Time,” and auditioned again.

His hard work paid off! Mitchell got McEntire to turn her chair, and she was stunned when she recognized him. She said she was “thrilled to death” to have him on Team Reba.

Leyton Robinson

YouTube video

23-year-old Nashville native Leyton Robinson kept it country by covering Ella Langley‘s “Weren’t for the Wind” for her blind audition. McEntire and Snoop Dogg turned their chairs for the talented young vocalist.

You’re cute as a button,” McEntire said after Robinson’s performance. “I loved your singing. I have several country artists already on my team, but the more you sang, the more I fell in love with your voice.

It only seemed natural for a country girl like Robinson to join Team Reba, and that’s exactly what she did!

Cori Kennedy

YouTube video

28-year-old former softball champion Cori Kennedy is trading in her bat and glove for a microphone. She auditioned for Season 28 of The Voice with a powerful cover of The Judds’ “Why Not Me.”

McEntire and Bublé turned their chairs for Kennedy’s performance. McEntire admitted she got emotional while listening to her sing.

I’m just so thrilled to be back on The Voice and to hear your voice on that stage singing,” McEntire said. “It just took me back to Tennessee. Makes me homesick. Your voice is wonderful, such power.”

That wonderful voice found a home on Team Reba!

Conrad Khalil

YouTube video

28-year-old New Jersey native Conrad Khalil opted to cover a former Voice coach’s hit song for his audition. He sang “Caught Up” by Usher, who was a coach on The Voice during Season 4 and Season 6.

The teams were filling up by the time Khalil auditioned. He got one coach to turn for his performance, and that coach was McEntire!

I hear emotion, I hear range. It was just like wow,” McEntire said after his audition.

Peyton Kyle

YouTube video

26-year-old Peyton Kyle from Gainesville, Georgia, auditioned for The Voice with a smooth Bruno Mars cover. He sang Mars’ #1 hit single from 2011, “Talking to the Moon.”

McEntire was the only coach who turned her chair, so she didn’t have to compete with anyone else for Kyle! She made it clear she was a big fan of his performance, saying, “It was sweet, it touched my heart… and a great song selection. You just knocked it out of the ballpark for me.

Aubrey Nicole

YouTube video

19-year-old Pennsylvania native Aubrey Nicole performed Cam’s “Burning House” during the blind auditions for Season 28.

As you’ve seen by now, McEntire was the only coach who turned for several of the contestants who landed on her team. That was the case with Nicole, too!

McEntire was proud to have her on her team. She said, “You know sound penetrates walls and, boy, it went through this chair and hit my heart. You’ve got that gift.”

What’s Next For Team Reba After The Blind Auditions?

The folks on Team Reba will now form pairs to compete during the battles. Unlike past years, where the coaches chose the battle pairings, the contestants got to pick their own duet partners this season.

The coaches and contestants will receive some assistance from superstar advisors. Former Voice coach Nick Jonas will help Team Reba during their rehearsals.

Tune in to the first episode of the Voice battles on October 13 to see how your favorite performers from Team Reba do!
