The Pistol Annies may have just become a quartet!
Angaleena Presley, known to fans as “Holler Annie,” revealed on social media she gave birth to a daughter on Tuesday (Jan 22).
On August 13, Pistol Annies first made the first big announcement during a hometown show. Standing in front of a roaring crowd, Miranda Lambert exclaimed, “One of us is drinking, one of us is smoking, and one of us is not taking our pill! Holler Annie’s having a baby, everybody! Since the day she found out she was pregnant, Presley, her 11-year-old son Jed from a previous relationship, and her husband Jordan Powell all thought she would be having a boy – but they realized how wrong they were at their gender reveal party.

“We had a whole list of boy names but hadn’t really even scratched the surface on girl names,” she told PEOPLE at the time. Good thing they had a few more months to figure it out!
Phoenix Joeleena Jean Powell was born on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at 7:49am, weighing 7 lbs., 13 oz. and measuring 17 1/2 inches long. During Angaleena’s labor, the baby’s heart rate got scarily high, so to calm her down, Jordan played a Loretta Lynn and Willie Nelson duet.
“Within 15 seconds, her heart rate dropped to normal and she relaxed. I guess she knew already where her roots were … nothing like a piece of home to heal a heart,” Angaleena told PEOPLE.
Jordan spoke with the publication about his newborn daughter’s young name, saying the whole family picked out Phoenix together.
“Joeleena is a combination of my friend Tony Joe White, who passed away a few months ago, and ‘Leena,’ which is a family name from Angaleena’s side,” he said. “Jean is my grandmother’s name. She’s 92 and helped raise me.”
