Post Malone recently showcased his softer side during a performance in Nashville on Tuesday (July 16).

Post Malone gave fans at his show at Marathon Music Works a glimpse into his personal life that few have seen before. The artist debuted two unreleased songs from his upcoming country album, F-1 Trillion.

One was a gritty collaboration with HARDY titled “Would You Hide My Gun.”

The other was a sweet tribute to his two-year-old daughter titled “Yours.”

Before performing, he shared that “Yours” was about his daughter getting married someday. The lyrics paint a sweet picture of a proud dad walking his daughter down the aisle:

“When I walk her down that aisle and do what daddies have to do /

And she might be wearing white, but her first dress it was pink.”

But the tattooed singer isn’t ready to let go just yet. The chorus reminds us (and perhaps her future spouse) that while she might be someone’s “better half,” she’ll always be his “everything.”

Despite his fame, Post Malone has managed to keep his family life private. He rarely speaks about his fiancé or daughter and has never shared photos of them publicly.

Shortly after his daughter’s arrival, Post Malone candidly shared his struggles of balancing his touring career and newfound fatherhood during an interview with GQ.

“It’s really tough not being able to see her, but she’s coming out more often now. I’m just happy to see her. But it is heartbreaking having to leave and not be able to be with her all the time.”

This little glimpse into his personal life adds a new dimension to his artistry. As he ventures into country music with his debut country album, which will likely feature a new duet with Chris Stapleton, fans are certainly excited to see a more vulnerable side of the artist.

It’s a side of Post Malone we haven’t seen before, and frankly, we’re here for it!

During his recent show, Post Malone also surprised fans with not one but two duets with Blake Shelton. The two performed their June single “Pour Me A Drink” and Shelton’s 2004 “Some Beach.” Check out their first performance below!
