Post Malone is further dipping his toes into the country music genre.

Is Post Malone releasing a country music album?

This question has been asked since his appearance at the 2023 CMA Awards. He performed a Joe Diffie tribute with Morgan Wallen and HARDY.

Shortly after this performance, Post Malone confirmed that he will be releasing a country album.

It seems he has been hard at work in the studio, teasing a duet with Luke Combs back in February.

On February 15, Post Malone posted a video of him listening to the song in the studio while drinking a Bud Light. He used the clinking beer mugs emoji and tagged Combs.

Post Malone teased yet another collaboration on Wednesday (March 20).

On his Instagram page, he posted a tease of a song he recorded with country artist Morgan Wallen.

His caption read, “let’s go with the real mix this time,” while tagging Wallen. Wallen commented, “I had some help getting to the point of posting it at 4 am…this song is one of my favs in a long time. Proud to be on it [with you] bub!!”

Some of the lyrics include:

“It takes two to break to break a heart in two / Baby you blame me, and baby I blame you / if that ain’t that the truth / I had some help / It ain’t like I can make this kinda mess up all by myself”

They continued singing, “Don’t act like you ain’t help me put that bottle on the shelf / In the deep end every weekend / If you couldn’t tell / They say teamwork makes the dream work / Hell, I had some help.”

It’s an upbeat country song that could possibly be the song of the summer! Take a listen to it below.
