Who’s Performing At The 2024 CMT Music Awards?
The 2024 CMT Music Awards just revealed the names of some all-star performers who will sing at the upcoming ceremony on April 7.
This year’s CMT Music Awards will be held at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas. Kelsea Ballerini will host the ceremony for the fourth consecutive year, but her first time solo. She previously hosted the awards with Kane Brown.
The CMT Music Awards honor music videos and live performances. Unlike most other awards shows, the CMT Music Awards are entirely fan-voted, meaning the fans get to pick every winner.
The nominees for this year’s ceremony were revealed on March 13. Cody Johnson, Jelly Roll, Kelsea Ballerini, Lainey Wilson, and Megan Moroney tied for the most nominations with three each.

Voting is open now, and fans can vote ten times per day while it remains open.
16 nominees are currently up for the night’s top prize, Video of the Year. On April 1, the top six nominees from the first round of voting will be announced. Then, the final three nominees from the second round of voting will be revealed on the day of the ceremony.
First Round Of CMT Music Awards Performers Revealed
On Tuesday (March 19), the CMT Music Awards revealed its first round of performers. And it’s an all-star lineup!
Bailey Zimmerman, Jelly Roll, Keith Urban, Lainey Wilson, and Sam Hunt will all perform during the ceremony on April 7. Host Kelsea Ballerini will also perform.

Fans can expect CMT to announce the names of more performers in the near future. PEOPLE reports, “Additional information about performers, presenters, and details will be revealed soon.”
